Don W. Tarpley

TARPLEY, Don W. Passed away at the age of 88. He was born on May 23, 1930 in Tennessee to Pearl and Norman Tarpley. Preceded in death by his loving wife, Eva Lois and his parents. He is survived by his children Patsy Pierce and (John Sherer)of Springboro, Betty Crews (Kenny) of Farmersville, David Tarpley (Sharon) of Huber Heights. He is also survived by grandchildren, Susie Bliss, Melissa Himmelbauer, Sheila Crews, Angela Crews, Ryan Tarpley, Darrin Tarpley and his six great grandchildren, Katlin, Emily, Mackenzie, Hannah, Grant and Luca and his siblings Elizabeth, Ann, Carter and Alice and his special sister-in-law and brother-in-law, Barbara and Terry Ray. Don served his country in the Korean War. After a full career he retired from Arena Dodge. He will be missed by all and his memory will live in our hearts forever. A private graveside service will be held for the family on Wednesday morning, August 8 at 10:00 a.m. at Fairview Cemetery in West Alexandria, Ohio. The family has requested that in lieu of flowers that donations be made to Hospice of Dayton, 324 Wilmington Ave. Dayton, Ohio 45420.
