Dona Renee Yeager

YEAGER, Dona Renee Age 63 of New Lebanon, went home to be in the arms of her Savior on Saturday, May 14th, 2022. She was born on March 24th 1959 to her loving parents, Donald & Margaret Leach; and was a 1977 graduate of Dixie High School. She was preceded in death by her sister and best friend, Juanita Leach; mother-in-law, Babette (Betty) Matheney; and father, Donald Leach. She is survived by the love of her life and husband of 30 years, George Yeager; mother, Margaret Leach; daughter, Audra (Tony) Blosser; son, Aaron Yeager; three grandsons, Douglas, Lukas and Tytus Besecker; brother, Robin Leach; nephew, Benjamin Leach; niece, Grace Jeffrey; and a myriad amount of other cherished family and friends. Dona was a beloved Sunday school and VBS teacher at her church, where she was a member for over 30 years. She was a steadfast believer who was not ashamed to share the gospel. Dona enjoyed fishing (though not baiting her hook or taking the fish off), mushroom hunting, and bird watching. Her greatest joy was spending time with her family. She was always there for every game or band concert. You only had to meet her once to know what an amazing woman she was. Her selfless and loving heart blessed all those around her. Visitation will be held from 5-7 PM Thursday evening at the Englewood Church of Grace and Truth, 307 W. Wenger Road, Englewood, Ohio 45322. Funeral service will also be held at the church on Friday, May 20th at 10:00 AM. Pastor and Nephew Benjamin Leach officiating. Interment will follow at Sugar Grove Cemetery in West Alexandria.
