Donald L. Filbrun

FILBRUN, Donald L. 69, passed away Tuesday, January 13, 2015, at Good Samaritan Hospital following a short illness. Don was born to George and Virginia (Lindsey) Filbrun on October 9, 1945. He attended Trotwood-Madison H.S. and Eastern Kentucky University. Don taught Machine Trades for 35 years at Northridge H.S., Miami Valley CTC, and Sinclair Community College. Teaching and his students were not only his career choice, but something he loved to do. His hobbies were camping, traveling, and spending time with friends and family. He was preceded in death by his parents. Don is survived by his wife of 45 years, Sue (Erbaugh); son, Joe (Melinda) Filbrun; daughter, Betsy (Jeff) Addy; and a grandson, Nate Addy who was very close to his heart; sister, Linda (Gary) Poynter; and many other family members and close friends. There will be a Visitation on Saturday, January 17 from 1PM to 3PM at ROGERS’ FUNERAL HOME, New Lebanon. Services will be private at the convenience of the family.
