Donna Rae (Slone) Woosley

WOOSLEY, Donna R. (Slone) Age 68, of Dayton, passed away on Monday, January 11, 2016 at Hospice of Dayton after a 2 year courageous battle with cancer. Donna was born June 9, 1947 in Dayton, and was a 1965 Graduate of Stebbins High School. She was preceded in death by her husband of 31 years, Ronny T. Woosley, Sr.; parents, Dallas and Inez Slone; and father and mother-in-law, Elmer and Irene Woosley. Donna is survived by her daughter, Elizabeth I. Wendling and husband Mark, of Eaton; daughter, Ronda R. Woosley and Frankie Miller of New Lebanon; son, Ronny T. Woosley, Jr., and wife Alissa of Brookville; seven grandchildren, Joshua Wendling and Chasity of Dayton, Natasha Brewer and husband Scotty of Springboro; Natalie Waymire and husband Joshua of New Lebanon, Candace and Cassandra Smith, and Thomas and Troy Woosley of Brookville; six great grandchildren, Rylie, Lane, Eliam, Jensen, Carson, and Alexandria; beloved cousin, Gail and husband Dave Ridenour of St. Petersburg, FL; brother, Gary and Nancy Taylor of Dayton; and sister, Frances and Mark Beavers of Clayton. Donna was a member of Grace Baptist Church and Victory Hill Chapel in Dayton. The family will receive friends from 6-8PM on Sunday, January 17 at ROGERS’ FUNERAL HOME, 324 W. Main St., New Lebanon. There will be a graveside service Monday, January 18 at 11AM with Pastor Cecil Wright officiating. Burial will follow at Trissel Cemetery, 653 S. Diamond Mill Rd., New Lebanon.
