Doris Audrey Arnett

ARNETT, Doris Audrey (Price) Age 85, of New Lebanon, passed away Tuesday, January 27, 2015. She was born June 5, 1929 in Dayton to the late Herbert and Ocey Melton. Doris was preceded in death by her parents and husband, Garland “Bo” Arnett. She is survived by her daughter, Becky (Terry) Blevins; granddaughter, Laura (Derek) Roeth; great granddaughters, Audrey and Violet; and other close family and friends. Doris was an art teacher for Dixie Schools and retired after 30 years, was a member of the New Lebanon United Methodist Church, and enjoyed gardening and flowers. The Visitation will be held on Thursday, January 29 from 5PM to 8PM at ROGERS’ FUNERAL HOME, New Lebanon, and from 10AM to 11AM at the funeral home on Friday, January 30. The Funeral Service will begin at 11AM with Rev. Gary Eubank officiating. Burial will follow at Sugar Grove Cemetery, West Alexandria. If desired, contributions may be made to Brookhaven Nursing and Rehabilitation or to Hospice of Dayton.
