Doris Jo-Ann Huff
January 26, 1934 — July 10, 2026
Doris Jo-Ann Huff, 92, of Brookville, Ohio, passed away on July 10, 2026. She was born on January 26, 1934, in Dayton, Ohio. Doris was preceded in death by her beloved husband, William R. Huff; her son, Michael Huff; her daughter, Nancy Monticue; and her granddaughter, Katie Monticue. She is survived by her children: Timothy Huff, Jeffrey Huff (wife Debra), Sherry Damron, and Mary Cornett (husband Ronnie); as well as her daughter-in-law, Theresa Huff. She was also blessed with 14 grandchildren, 20 great-grandchildren, and 3 great-great-grandchildren, all of whom she loved dearly.
Doris worked for many years at General Motors, but she made the selfless choice to give up that position to devote herself fully to raising her children — as well as other family members she loved and raised as her own. All while also helping run the family business, Professional Car Care. Family always came first for Doris, and she poured that love into every part of her life, most of all through her faithful service as a devoted Christian of Jehovah God and member of the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses.
Family always came first for Doris and Bill. Their home was always open, welcoming anyone who needed love, guidance, a place to stay, or simply a family to call their own. Together, Doris and Bill helped raise many generations of children, and they could proudly take credit for the love, care, and guidance they provided to so many lives beyond their own children and grandchildren.
Doris will be remembered for her handmade photo books, treasured keepsakes she lovingly created to capture family memories, and for always having a camera ready to document the moments that mattered. She was the heart behind the family reunions, bringing everyone together year after year. She also had a true green thumb, finding joy in her garden and a special love for butterflies. Doris leaves behind a legacy of love, faith, and family that will continue for generations to come.
Visitation will be on Saturday, July 18, 2026 12:00 PM – 1:00 PM with Memorial Service to begin at 1:00 PM at Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses 1530 N. James H. McGee Blvd. Dayton, OH 45402. www.RogersFuneralHomes.com
