Doris E. (Eby) O'Diam

O'DIAM, Doris E. (Eby) Age 82, of New Lebanon, went to be with the Lord on Thursday, September 5, 2013. Doris was born October 25, 1930 in Johnsville to the late Orville and Clara Mae Eby. She was preceded in death by her parents; loving husband of 45 years, John H. O'Diam, Sr; son-in-law, Mark Simpson; brothers, Emerson and Kenneth Eby; and sister, Veda DeGroat. Doris is survived by her children, John H. (Teresa) O'Diam Jr., Terry L. O'Diam, Debra L. Simpson, Lonnie G. (DeWana) O'Diam, Michael A. (Michelle) O'Diam, Lori A. (Scott) Kammer, and Tricia K. (Scott) Cottingim; 18 grandchildren; 10 great grandchildren; brothers Robert and Dareld Eby, numerous nieces and nephews, and many more family and friends. She was a member of Slifer's Presbyterian Church, a former 4H advisor, an amazing cook, and seamstress. In addition to gardening and flowers, Doris was a loving grandma and always had ice cream and cookies ready. The Visitation will be held on Sunday, September 8 from 5PM to 8PM at ROGERS' FUNERAL HOME, New Lebanon. The Funeral Service will begin at 10AM Monday at Slifer's Presbyterian Church, 2999 S. Clayton Rd., Farmersville with Rev. Angie Schenck, officiating. Burial will follow at Holp Cemetery, Farmersville.
