Dorothy M. Banks

BANKS, Dorothy M. Age 78 of Trotwood, Ohio passed away on Friday, January 29th, 2021 at Hospice of Dayton. She was born in Dayton, Ohio on March 12th, 1942 to her parents, Fred & Emma Sears. In addition to her parents, Dorothy was preceded in death by her childhood sweetheart and of 63 years of marriage, Chester F. Banks, Sr.; her son, Chester F. Banks, Jr.; and 2 daughters, Sherry Davis, and Crystal Banks. She is survived her daughter, Deanna Perkins of Eaton, Ohio; granddaughters, Jennifer Olsen (son-in-law, Chris Olsen), Angela Davis of Dayton, and Christina Perkins of Eaton; 1 and only grandson, Justin Perkins (fiancé, Jessica Rudy); great grandchildren, Aaliyah Olsen & Marcus Olsen of Eaton, Ohio. Dorothy was Mother to many and “Aunt Dot” for all. She was a seamstress, quilter, and crocheter and donated her work to charity. She was loved and will be missed. Visitation will be held from 11am-12pm with funeral service to follow at 12:00pm on Wednesday, February 3, 2021 at Rogers Funeral Home, 110 West Main St., Trotwood, Ohio 45426.
