Dorothy E. Hurley

HURLEY, Dorothy E. Age 67 of New Lebanon, passed away Tuesday, January 2, 2018. Born in Dayton, Ohio on September 2, 1950 to her parents Ralph & Eileen (Wheeler) Schindler who have preceded her in death along with her son, Gary Mark Jr.; brother, Danny; and 4 sisters, Mary, Bessie, Barb, and Diane. Dorothy is survived by her husband of 49 years, Gary Hurley; daughter, Jennifer (Albert) Dennis; son, Tracy (Tina) Hurley; siblings, Ralph (Gale) Schindler, Jr., Patricia (Dale) Hoose, Dale (Myrtle) Schindler, and Anna Cecil; also, 8 grandchildren, 8 great-grandchildren, and numerous other family members and friends. Dorothy loved shopping, the outdoors, sewing, and motorcycle riding. Most of all she loved spending time with her family, especially her great-grandchildren and sister. She will be dearly missed. Visitation will be held from 1-2 PM with funeral to follow at 2:00 PM on Friday, January 5th, 2018 at Rogers Funeral Home in New Lebanon. Pastor Clifford Hurst officiating.
