Dorothy "Dottie" Monce

Monce, Dorothy “Dottie” Age 82, of New Lebanon, went to be with the Lord on Saturday, May 21, 2011, after passing away at Hospice of Dayton. She was preceded in death by her husband of 34 years, Daniel “Danny” Monce, her parents Andrew “Andy” and Helen (Reindel) Meyer, her two brothers Andrew “Bud” Meyer and Harry Meyer, her three sisters-in-law Betty Jane Meyer, Betty Mae Meyer and Betty Ann Meyer, one niece Cathy (Meyer) Burnett and three nephews Ronnie Meyer, Jeffrey Heck and Dale Burnett. Dottie is survived by her sister and brother-in-law Charlene and Harold Heck, her brother Robert “Butch” Meyer and many nieces, nephews, great nieces, nephews, and great-great nieces, nephews and special friend Mildred, special neighbors John and Barb, and many other good friends. Dottie loved gardening and having garage sales which gave her the nicknames of the “Vegetable Lady” and the “8 Family Garage Sale Lady”. She had 30 years of service with Montgomery County when she retired. She was a faithful member of State Road United Methodist Church. Per Dottie’s wishes, there will be only private graveside services.
