Douglas J. Denlinger

DENLINGER, Douglas J. Age 63 of Trotwood, passed away Thursday, Oct. 5, 2017. He was born in Dayton, Ohio on April 24, 1954 to his parents Virgil & Elva (Blessing) Denlinger. He was preceded in death by his parents; infant son, Brian; and mother & father-in-law, Bob and Norma Wion. Doug is survived by his loving wife of 44 years, Cindy Denlinger; 3 sons, Michael (Lynna`) Denlinger, Chad (Wanda) Denlinger, and Shane Denlinger; grandchildren, Austin, Anthony, Braeden, Mykala, Donovan, and Quinton; brother, Garry (Teri) Denlinger; sister, Vivian (Tom) Peffly; sister, Connie (Bill) Sweney; and numerous nieces, nephews, and friends. Doug was a 1972 graduate of Trotwood-Madison High School and JVS. He worked at Salem Chrysler for 36 years and Serco Inc. for 10 years. Doug was an avid car enthusiast and loved to go camping. He was loved and will be missed. Visitation will be held from 2-3 PM with Memorial service to follow at 3:00 PM on Monday, Oct. 9, 2017 at Rogers Funeral Home in Trotwood.
