Dowan Eugene Brown

Age 72 of Carlisle, passed away on Monday, February 5, 2024. He was born in Ackworth, GA on November 6, 1951 to his late parents, Harold & Doris (Simmons) Brown.

Dowan is survived by his wife, Terri Brown; 3 sons, Travis (Amy), Nathan (Kym), and Chris (Beth) Brown; 2 step-daughters, Jessie (Andrew) Small, and Stacie (Shawn) Bush; 5 grandchildren, Ashley, Savannah, Jeremiah, Ava, and Chris; 5 step-grandchildren, Cali, Camry, Spencer, Conley, and Shyanne; sister, Beverlyn Dials, half-brother, Mark Brown; and niece, Angela Ryan.

Dowan retired from Mike Sells. He was a well-respected little league baseball coach and an avid Kentucky Wildcats fan. He enjoyed golf, fantasy football, and playing guitar. He was loved and will be dearly missed.

Visitation will be from 12-1pm with funeral service to begin at 1:00pm on Friday, Feb. 9, 2024 at Rogers Funeral Home in New Lebanon. Interment will follow at Cedar Hill Cemetery. www.RogersFuneralHomes.com
