Dwight G. "Jerry" Huffman

HUFFMAN, Dwight G. “Jerry” Age 79 of New Lebanon, passed away Sunday, July 24, 2011. Jerry was a member of the New Lebanon United Methodist Church. He was a longtime member of the VFW #3288 in Brookville, the Amvets # 918, and the New Lebanon American Legion # 762 where he was Commander for many years. Jerry was preceded in death by his parents Dwight & Louise (McFall) Huffman; 1 brother, Bill; and 1 niece, Jill. He is survived by his sister-in-law, Leola Huffman; 2 nephews, Shawn and Heith Huffman; 1 niece, Kim Tschirhart; and great-nephew and niece, Ish & Megan Villanueva. Funeral services will be held 11:00 AM on Friday, July 29, 2011 at Rogers’ Funeral Home, New Lebanon with Rev. Bennie Sutherland. Interment will follow at Fairmount Cemetery in Camden. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 10:00 AM until the start of the service. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Crossroads Hospice in Jerry’s memory.
