Earl Howard

HOWARD, Earl Age 74, of New Lebanon, passed away on Tuesday, March 4, 2014. He was born on March 23, 1939 in Leslie County, KY to the late Allen and Maude Howard. Earl was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Edmund, Edward, Edgar, and Bill; sister, Helen Howard; and daughter, Linda Adams. He is survived by his loving wife of 43 years, Ruth; daughters, Geneva Hamilton and Sandy (Jeff) Sink; grandchildren, Kyle, Travis, Nicole, Anthony, Jana, and Joseph; 6 great-grandchildren; sisters, May and June; brothers-in-law, Allen (Barb) and Jurdon (Sharon); sister-in-law, Joyce (Jim); and many more family and friends. Earl served our country in the U.S. Army, was a member of the New Lebanon American Legion Post #762, and enjoyed spending time with family and friends. A Visitation will take place on Thursday, March 6 at ROGERS' FUNERAL HOME, New Lebanon from 6PM to 8PM. Earl will then have services at Wolfe and Sons Funeral Home, 23185 U.S. 421, Hyden, KY 41749. Burial will be at Hardy Bottom Cemetery, Hyden.
