Earl L. Shepard

Earl Leroy Shepard, 85, of Brookville passed away on February 5, 2024 with his loving wife of 64 years, Louise by his side. Earl was preceded in death by his parents Forrest and Helen (Smith) and brother Carl Shepard.

Earl is survived by his three sons Rick (Dena), Tom and Todd. Earl was blessed with four grandchildren Audra (Nick) Lamb, Emily, Eric (Katherine), Ross (Dakota), as well as six great grandchildren Miles, Holden, Savannah, Spencer, Jack and Raylen. He is survived by his sister Sandy Taulbee, brother Gary (Laura) and many family and friends.

Earl proudly served in the Navy and as a Dayton City Police Officer. His career included the Dayton Daily News and FedEx. Earl enjoyed golfing, camping, reading, crosswords and cheeseburgers.

Earl loved his family well and was loved in return. He will be greatly missed, but left all that knew him with fond memories.
