BRANSON, Edith
Age 89 of Dayton, passed away on Sunday, Dec. 4, 2022. She was born in Campton, KY on April 12, 1933 to her parents, Green & Miranda (Brown) Brashears. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, George W. Branson; and infant son, Billy Gene; and 7 sisters.
Edith is survived by 4 children, Linda (Bob) Toops, George (Reba) Branson, Deb (Nick) Albers, and Rocky (Lenore) Branson; grandchildren, Rob (Traci) Toops, Jennifer (Ed) Fox, Jason (Tiffany) Branson, Kristopher (Kelli) Toops, Travis (Gina) Toops, Susan (David) Belna, and Rocky (Sarah) Branson; great grandchildren, Claire, Brayden, Bryce, JJ, Seth, Cheyenne, Felicity, Sienna, Emelyn, Branson, Gavin, Noah, Liam, Tanner, Kailey, Rosie, Emma, Zeke, Archer, and Eliza; great-great grandchildren, Lily, and Vivian; and numerous nieces, nephews, and friends, including all her friends at Brookdale Senior Living, especially Matthew.
Edith was a fantastic cook. She enjoyed flower gardening, sewing, quilting, fishing and playing the lottery. But most of all she loved spending time with her family and grandchildren. Mom, we’re going to miss you.
Visitation will be held from 5-7pm on Wednesday, Dec. 7, 2022 at Rogers Funeral Home New Lebanon. A graveside service will begin at 9:30am on Thursday, Dec. 8th at Fairview Cemetery in West Alexandria on South 503.
