Edith Lodema Myers

MYERS, Edith Lodema Age 80, of Dayton, went to be with the Lord on Monday, May 4, 2015. She was born June 16, 1934 in New Haven, Indiana to the late Lorenz James and Ada (Tredway) Halsey. Edith Lodema was preceded in death by her parents; sister, Dolores Wilson; sister-in-law, Norma Myers; and many others. She is survived by her loving husband of 62 years, Walter L.; sons, Jimmy and Terry Myers; daughter, Christine (Myers) Vagedes; grandchildren, Becky Myers, Sara Vagedes, Timmy Myers, and Douglas Vagedes; great grandchildren, Kyle and Alaina Bostick; nieces, Donna Wilson and Kathy Hemmerick; nephew, Danny Wilson; special friends, Erin Bundy, Warnie Wright, and Jamie Williams. Edith Lodema enjoyed camping and angels (of any type). She also liked to watch the Cooking Channel and cooking, but not anything which was on the Cooking Channel. She also loved angel food cake and windmill cookies. Both will be provided during the visitation in honor of Edith The Visitation will be on Friday, May 8 from 11Am to 1PM at ROGERS’ FUNERAL HOME, Trotwood. The Funeral Service will begin at 1PM with Pastor Bill Edwards officiating. Burial will follow at Bear Creek Cemetery, Dayton.
