Edna G. Lightcap

LIGHTCAP, EDNA G. Age 95 of Michigan, formerly of Arizona and Ohio passed away on Saturday, April 6, 2013 at Garden Estates. Edna was born in Dayton, Ohio on March 31, 1918 to Charles Alexander and Norma Frazee. In June of 1938, she married Carl B Lightcap who preceded her in death on February 28, 1994. Edna worked for many years at Maryvale Hospital in Phoenix, Arizona. She was also very active in volunteer organizations that assisted seniors. Edna loved to crochet, knit, read and loved to be with her family. She is survived by her children Charles (Norma) Lightcap, Carl (Loraine) Lightcap, Azenitha (Jerry) Leonard and Leroy (Nancy) Lightcap, 12 grandchildren and 30 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, her son Lloyd, her daughter Carla and siblings, Robert Frazee, Mary Smith, Raleigh Frazee, Berta Helmick, Donald Frazee and Charles Frazee. Visitation for Edna will be held on Friday, April 12, 2013 from noon to 1pm at Rogers Funeral Home, 110 W Main Street, Trotwood, OH 45426 with the funeral services immediately following visitation. Interment will follow at Bear Creek Cemetery.
