Edward H. "Eddie" Combs

COMBS, Edward H. “Eddie” Age 81, of New Lebanon, formerly of West Alexandria, went to be with the Lord on Saturday, June 20, 2015. He was preceded in death by his loving wife of 58 years, Margaret “Barkie”; parents, Paul and Edna Combs; step-mother, Mildred Combs; granddaughter, Cynthia Hill; and brother, Jim Combs. Eddie is survived by his daughter, Pam (Mike) Hill; grandsons, Mickey (Leigh-Ann) and Andy (Christina) Hill; brothers, Robert (Mabel), Loren “Bud” (Lois), Phillip “Bingo” (Judy), Marvin “Oscar” (Bonnie); sister, Marian “Sis”; and many more family and friends. He retired from GM after 30 years of service and drove a school bus for Twin Valley Schools. Eddie enjoyed woodworking and traveling with Margaret. They also taught Sunday school together at the First Baptist Church in Eaton for over 20 years. A Visitation will be held on Wednesday, June 24 from 11AM to 1PM at First Baptist Church in Eaton, 1320 N Maple St, Eaton, 45320. The Funeral Service will begin at 1PM with Pastors Andrew Stensaas and Fred Hill officiating. Burial will follow the service at Mound Hill Cemetery (Camden Rd), Eaton.
