Edward E. Johnson

Johnson, Elwood Edward 97 of Trotwood, died February 1, 2013. He retired from Frigidaire in 1975 and was a former member of Scottish Rite and past Worshipful Master of the Trotwood Lodge. He was a long time member of Happy Corner Church of the Brethren, avid golfer and story teller. Ed was married to Ruth E. Rankin for 67 years prior to her death in 2003. He is survived by Edward E. Jr. and Nancy of Longwood, Florida; 3 daughters and 2 sons-in-law, Carolyn and Bob Coy of Lithia, FL; Bonnie Johnson of Bellbrook, Oh; Marcia Henderson of Englewood, Oh; 7 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren. Private services will be held at the convenience of the family. Ed's family would like to extend a warm thank you to the staff and caring nurses of Friendship Village and Hospice of Dayton. Contributions, if desired, may be made to Hospice of Dayton or Happy Corner Church of the Brethren.
