Eleanor E. (Musselman) Hardie

HARDIE, Eleanor E. (Musselman) Age 84, of Lewisburg, Kentucky, formerly of Trotwood, Ohio, passed away on Wednesday, September 10, 2014. She was born on March 24, 1930 in Trotwood to the late Stanley and Ida (Conover) Musselman. Eleanor was preceded in death by her parents; loving husband, Benjamin Hardie; son, Jimmy Hardie; and 5 siblings. She is survived by her daughters, Joy (Dale) Byrne and Jean Ann Hardie; daughter-in-law, Cindy Hardie; grandchildren, Kristen (Lloyd) Gregory, Nicole (Jason) Newport, Valerie Kahl, Ericca (Chris) Morris, Jamie (Jimmy) Linley, and Ben Hardie; 13 great-grandchildren; brother, Harold Musselman; sister, Barbara Metzger; and many more family and friends. Eleanor was a secretary for Trotwood Schools, and enjoyed camping, traveling, her sorority, and square dancing. She also enjoyed going to the Vandalia Senior Citizen Center, bowling, and playing cards. Spending time with her family, especially on Sunday's at the farm, gave her the most happiness in life. The family will receive friends on Tuesday, September 16, 2014 from 10-11AM at Rogers' Funeral Home, Trotwood, where the funeral service will begin at 11AM. Burial will follow at Trissel Cemetery, New Lebanon.
