Elizabeth (Volk) Norvell

Norvell, Elizabeth (Volk) Age 88 and a longtime resident of Trotwood, passed away July 4, 2011. Betty was an avid gardener, loved to do ceramics and cook wonderful meals for her family. She is survived by her devoted family which includes her daughter and her husband Marsha and Joe Schirtzinger, very special grandson and his wife Aaron and Melanie Schirtzinger, brother Dr. Thomas (Pat) Volk, sisters Helen (Dick) Burnhard, Vivian Cemino and many more dear friends and relatives which certainly includes good friend Jim Terry, her four legged buddy Emma Sue and lifelong friend Juanita Woods. A celebration of Betty’s life will held 1:00 PM Friday at the ROGERS’ FUNERAL HOME, TROTWOOD with Pastor Cecil Rose presiding. Burial to follow at Forrest Hills Memorial Gardens. Friends may wish to call at the funeral home on Friday from 11- 1PM. The family would like to thank the staff of Friendship Village for all their kindness and caring.
