Ellen Mae Hunn

Ellen Hunn left this Earth to join her Heavenly Father and the love her earthly life, Paul Hunn, on Sunday, December 20, 2020. She was also preceded in death by her late husband, Gardner Benson; parents, Ralph and Ellen (Lindbergh) Shank; brother, Eugene (Pat) Shank; daughter, Linda (Gary) Hunn Billings. Survived by her children, Lynne (Eric) Magel, Denise (Charles) Alford, Paula (David) Fickel, Larry (Karen) Hunn, Rex (Jan) Hunn; grandchildren, Traci, Joshua (Holly), Christina, Andrea, Eric, Shari, John, Angie, Holly; and many great-grandchildren. Ellen spent much of her life teaching children about Jesus Christ in Child Evangelism, Sunday School, and Children’s Church. She was active in the First Baptist Church of New Lebanon with the Senior’s Ministry and the Grief Ministry. Ellen was a contributor to the foundation of the New Lebanon Library.
