Ellen J. Morton

MORTON, Ellen J. Age 79 of Clayton, passed away Monday, Oct. 10, 2016. She was born in Dayton on June 29, 1937 to her parents, William J. & Helen (Heil) Brooks. Ellen was preceded in death by her parents; granddaughter, Sarah Jessica Stewart; and Robert E. Morton. She is survived by her daughter, Julie (Richard) Stewart; grandson, Matthew Stewart; 3 sisters, Virginia Strong, Pat Robbins, and Ruby Clark; and numerous nieces, nephews, and friends. Ellen retired from the Ohio Dept. of Job and Family Services. She enjoyed landscaping and working out in her yard. Visitation will be held from 11am-12pm with funeral to follow at 12:00 pm on Tuesday, Oct. 18, 2016 at Rogers Funeral Home, 110 West Main St., Trotwood, Ohio 45426. Dr. E.M. Reed will be officiating.
