MILLER, Eloise (Dearing) Age 81, of New Lebanon, went to be with the Lord on Sunday, September 7, 2014. She was born July 7, 1933 in Palestine, IL to the late Oliver and Ellen Dearing. Eloise was preceded in death by her parents; son, Bobby Miller; and brothers, Paul and Maurice Dearing. She is survived by her loving husband of 64 years, Gene A. Miller; daughters, Marilyn (John) Walden and Charlene (David) Stamper; grandchildren, Tammy (Don) Guthrie, Shari Holloway, Tara (Travis) Hadfield, Wendy (Brian) Tesmer, Matthew (Sophia) Stamper, and Rachel (Dan) Brown; 17 great-grandchildren; 3 great-great grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews; sister, Patricia Wilson; and brother, James (Carol) Dearing. Eloise was a member of the Eversole Church of the Brethren and retired from Dixie Schools where she taught for 30 years and was named Teacher of the year in 1992. She enjoyed reading, traveling, sewing, and gardening. The family will receive friends on Wednesday, September 10 from 5PM to 8PM at ROGERS' FUNERAL HOME, 324 W. Main St., New Lebanon, 45345. A visitation from 10AM to 10:30AM on Thursday September 11 at Eversole Church of the Brethren, 11414 Old Dayton Road, New Lebanon, 45345, where the Funeral Service will begin at 10:30AM, with Pastor Mark Bowman officiating. Burial will follow at Eversole Cemetery, New Lebanon. In lieu of flowers, contributions in Eloise's memory may be made to Eversole Church of the Brethren.
