Elsie Virginia (Mckenzie) Peace

PEACE, Elsie Virginia (McKenzie) Passed away peacefully on May 17, 2012. She was born in Brown County, Ohio on February 22, 1931. Elsie was preceded in death by her loving husband and lifelong partner, James Peace, in 2000. She is survived by her daughter, Joy Peace (Joseph) Lopez; and her son Jeffrey L. (Darlene) Peace. Her loving sisters, Ruth Peace, Evelyn Dykeman, Thelma Lincoln, and Jean Brittian. Her precious grandchildren, Jason (Fawn) Peace, Sarah Peace (Jason) Watson; Shawna (Mark) Thompson, Joseph Lopez, Emily (Michael) Ramsey; and her precious great-grandchildren, Sedona Watson, Brandon Thompson, Austin Peace, Jeffrey Owen Watson, Madelynn Virginia Peace, and Abigail Ramsey. She is also survived by too many friends to list. Elsie also is survived by two very special people, Linda Peace, the mother of two of her grandchildren, and Kathleen Dickinson. To have met Elsie was to immediately know how special she was. She will be missed. A visitation will be held on Monday, May 21, 2012 from 11 AM - 12 PM with the funeral service to follow at 12:00 PM at Rogers' Funeral Home, 110 West Main St., Trotwood 45426. Interment will follow at Forest Hills Memorial Gardens.
