BURKE, Emerson F., Jr. Age 62, passed away Wednesday, December 2, 2015. He was born in Honolulu, Hawaii on September 17, 1953 to his parents Emerson & Peggy Burke who both precede him in death. Emerson is survived by his fiancé, Cathy Vaspory; son, Russell (Lauren) Burke; grandchildren, Autumn & Sallie Moon; sisters, Janet (Larry) Grey, and Natalie (Paige) Stanley; Cathy's son, Brian Bean, and grandsons, Devon and Chase; and numerous loved ones and friends. Emerson will be long remembered for his infectious laugh. He had a great love for the need for speed as he enjoyed NASCAR and drag racing on the track and off. There will be a Celebration of Life Gathering from 2-5 PM on Sunday, December 20, 2015 at the Irish Club, 6555 Dog Leg Rd, Dayton, Ohio 45414.
