Eugene Siegfried Dietz

DIETZ, Eugene Siegfried Age 59 of Trotwood, went to be with the Lord on Sunday, September 3, 2017. Born in Dayton, Ohio on April 23, 1958 to his mother, Ruth H. (Rathfelder) Dietz, who precedes him in death; and his father, Eugene Dietz, who survives him. Siegfried is also survived by siblings, Marika Palmer, and Wolfgang (Vickie) Dietz; nieces and nephews, Victoria Johnson, Christina Timmons, Alex Palmer, Nicole Dietz, Brittney Dietz, and Lauren Dietz; grandnieces and nephews, Andrew, Carolyn, Christopher, Katelyn, Brooklyn, Emma, Kian, and Zareyah; and his extended family in Europe. Siegfried was a 1976 graduate of Trotwood Madison High School where he enjoyed being a member of the band. After high school he attended Miami University and studied philosophy and economics. Siegfried was an Eagle Scout and loved being outdoors appreciating nature. He was an avid runner and enjoyed fishing and tending to his garden and plants. Siegfried was a longtime faithful member of the Trotwood Church of the Brethren and devoted his life to the church and community service in addition to caring for his father. Siegfried will be missed by his family and friends. A Memorial service will be held Sunday, October 8, 2017 at 3:00 at the Trotwood Church of the Brethren 208 E. Main St., Trotwood, Ohio 45426.
