Evan E. Watkins

WATKINS, Evan E. Age 51 of Dayton, passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, April 18, 2015. Evan was born in Dayton on April 22, 1963 to his parents, Charles Eugene & Jacqueline Louise (Seidle) Watkins. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Charles T. & Venus Watkins; and grandson, Lucas Justice. Evan is survived by his parents; his wife of 15 years, Edwina Watkins; 3 children, Tawny Watkins, Brittany (Justin Riggs) Watkins, and Ryan Watkins; his beloved dog, Miss Wiggles; 3 step-children, Melissa Isaacs, Stephanie (Marshall) Vaught, and James “Buddy” Isaacs; 8 grandchildren, Kaleb, Ashton, Briella, Kaylana, Peyton, Jacob, Bailey, and Kiani; 4 sisters, Belinda (Frank) Myers, Robin (David) Dodds, Kendell (Mark) McDaniel, and Alison Beckett; also best friends, Brad & Julie Debold; and numerous nieces, nephews, family members, and friends. Evan graduated from West Carrolton High School and proudly served in the U.S. Army. He owned his own roofing company and loved to fish. He will be dearly missed. A Memorial visitation will be held from 3-4 pm with a Memorial service to follow at 4:00 pm on Friday, April 24 at Rogers Funeral Home in New Lebanon. Pastor David Earnhardt officiating.
