Eveleen Hale

HALE, Eveleen Age 81, of New Lebanon, passed away on Tuesday, April 5, 2016. She was born June 16, 1934 in Knott County, Kentucky to the late Edgel and Cordie Wicker. Eveleen was preceded in death by her parents; sisters, Verti Lee Chafin and Margareet Sloan; and brothers, Bud Wicker and Palmer Sloan. She is survived by her loving husband of 66 years, Joe Hale; children, Bill (Debbie) Hale, Betty Sigler, Sandy (Scott) Jackson, and David (Kelli) Hale; 10 grandchildren; 5 great grandchildren; brother, Clyde Wicker; and many more family and friends. Eveleen loved to garden and sew, especially quilting, and was talented at making crafts and painting. A visitation will be held Saturday, April 9 from 9AM to 11AM at ROGERS’ FUNERALHOME, New Lebanon. The funeral service will begin at 11AM with Pastor Harold Ady officiating. Burial will follow at Royal Oak Memorial Gardens, Brookville.
