Evelyn Paulina Stewart

STEWART, Evelyn Paulina Age 98 of Trotwood and more recently The Cottages of Clayton, passed away February 17, 2017. She was born in Mt. Carmel, Illinois, on July 17, 1918 to Paul E. & Kittie R. (Reel) Hilbert. Evelyn was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Oliver, in 1963, daughter, Sandra and granddaughter, Susan. Evelyn is survived by her son, Douglas (Judith) Stewart, and daughters, Sheila (James) Niswander and Miriam (Gary) Murrell. She is also survived by grandchildren, Sarah (Evan) Makela, Jennifer (Daniel) Tassinari, Todd Niswander and Kathleen Niswander; and great-grandchildren, Oliver and Elliot Makela, Joel, Darin, and Brynn Tassinari and Abbey, Kyle and Lauren Niswander. Evelyn is survived by her special friend, Gilbert Flory. Evelyn was an active member of Trotwood United Church of Christ. She was an avid reader and flower gardener and proudly worked into her 80’s as a secretary for Millard Swank Insurance Company in Trotwood. Evelyn loved her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren, and they loved her. She cherished precious moments with her family.
