Florence (Horn) Jones

Florence (Horn) Jones, age 90 of Brookville, passed away peacefully on Thursday, July 6, 2023 at Brookhaven Retirement Community surrounded by her loving family. She was born on September 21, 1932 in Richmond, KY, the daughter of the late Alfred & Fairzina Susan (Blevins) Horn. Mrs. Jones was a Budget Analyst for DESI with 25 years of service. Preceded in death by her husband John Jones in 1995, her 6 sisters Dora Whittemore, Violet Pittman, Dorothy Carter, Louise Woods, Fairzina Jones and Thelma Broughton, and by her 4 brothers Earl, Clyde, Edward and Arlton Horn. She is survived by her loving daughter Bettina Angel of Brookville, her grandson Adrien (Natalie) Angel of Brookville, three great grandchildren, and 8 great great grandchildren, as well as numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
