Flossie Louise Haston, aged 91, passed away on January 8, 2025, in Dayton, Ohio. Born on September 17, 1933, Flossie was a devout follower of Christ, embodying a life filled with love, devotion, and service to her family and community.
Flossie's legacy is carried on through her loving family. She is survived by her sons, Kenneth (Petey), Michael (Debbie), Ronnie; daughter, Judy; daughter-in-law, Christy Haston; special son, Eddie; and special daughter/granddaughter, Sherry. She also leaves behind her half-sister, Annette Blankenship; 15 grandchildren; numerous great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren; as well as many cherished nieces and nephews. Flossie was preceded in death by her parents, Avis and Sam Blaylock; her husband, Clint Haston; her son, James Haston; six sisters, five brothers; three grandchildren, and one great-grandson.
Flossie's life was a testament to her unwavering faith and the strong bonds of family. Her warm presence and nurturing spirit made her a beloved figure not just within her family, but also across the broader community. She will be remembered for her deep faith, resilience, and the profound impact she had on everyone she met.
Visitation will be held from 12-1pm with funeral service to begin at 1:00pm on Thursday, January 16, 2025 at Rogers Funeral Home in New Lebanon. Interment will follow at Bear Creek Cemetery. www.RogersFuneralHomes.com
