LIBECAP, Floyd Eugene Age 82, passed away suddenly & painlessly on Wednesday March 7, 2012 at Miami Valley Hospital, surrounded by his loving family. He was preceded in death by his parents Paul & Dorothy Libecap, 2 brothers, Robert Lloyd & John Allen. His wife of 42 years Clare & 1 great-great-granddaughter, Bernadette Grace. He leaves to cherish his memory, 1 sister Sharon (Bob) Miller of West Alexandria, 5 children from his first marriage of 20 years to Betty Pummill, Robert Libecap & wife Janet Murie of Yellow Springs, Deborah (Tab) Brown of Farmersville, William (Margaret) Libecap of West Alexandria, Donald Libecap of Dayton, Lynda (Dave) Yarborough of Milford. In addition, 3 Step-children from his second marriage, Kay Sanders of Dayton, Janet (Gary) Worrell of Farmersville, Francine (Bob) Fiers of Farmersville. Also his fiancé; to whom he was to wed on 04/14/2012 Norma Brubaker of West Alexandria, 19 grandchildren, 30 great-grandchildren, 3 great-great grandchildren, A host of nieces & nephews, friends & co-workers. Floyd was a farmer through-out his life. He retired from Wysong Sand & Gravel as General Foreman in 1994. He Lived the majority of his life in Farmersville until he moved to his new farm in Preble Country. As a High School athlete he excelled in sports and was a "runner" for the Civil Defense during WWII. An avid Euchre player, a lifetime member of St. Andrew Lutheran Church of Farmersville. Floyd will be laid to rest on what would have been his 83rd birthday Monday, March 12th, 2012. The funeral service will begin at 11:00 AM at St. Andrew Lutheran Church, 282 S. Broadway St., Farmersville, 45325 with Pastor Larry Lindstrom officiating. Interment will follow at Preble Memory Gardens. The family will receive friends on Sunday from 3:00-7:00 PM at Rogers' Funeral Home, 324 W. Main St., New Lebanon 45345, and also at the church on Monday from 10:30 AM until the start of the service. The family would like to express their sincere gratitude to all First Responders & the nurses & physicians at Miami Valley Hospital. Also the staff and employees of Rogers' Funeral Home.
