Garnet Buckley

BUCKLEY, Garnet B. (Swink) Age 87 of Brookville, passed away Thursday, August 20, 2015. Garnet was born in Dayton on October 1, 1927 to her parents, Jesse & Mary (Shafer) Swink. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Loray “Pa” Buckley; 2 brothers, and 2 sisters. Garnet is survived by 4 daughters, Julie (Buckley) Mitrisin, Lorna Buckley, Janet (Doug) D’Autremont, and Becky (Doug) Haupt; 7 grandchildren, Loray F. Buckley, Erin (Jon) Wissinger, Ryan D’Autremont, Erich (Christy) Haupt, Jennifer (Jared) Lynch, Jessi (Adam) Mitrisin, and Jaime (Joe) Mitrisin; 11 great-grandchildren, Morgan, Lainie, & Makenna Garnett, Jakob, Joshua, & Jenna Wissinger, Luc D’Autremont, Ashlee & Kaylee Haupt, and Haidyn & Tenley Lynch. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and dear friends, Jean Ryan, Carol Ziegler, and Tracy Thomas. Special thank you to Countryside Living and Hospice of Dayton for their care and support. A Graveside service will be held at Arlington Cemetery in Brookville on Monday, August 24 at 11:00 AM. Chaplain Steve Whiteaker officiating.
