Gary R. Rose

ROSE, Gary R. Gary Ray Rose, Age 54 of Middletown, ended his suffering peacefully, surrounded by family, on Monday, July 9, 2018. He was born in Dayton, Ohio on December 16, 1963 to his parents, Cecil & Devonna (Norvell) Rose who have preceded him in death along with numerous other loved family members. Gary is survived by his loving wife of 36 years, Deborah “Deb” Rose; children, Brandon (Wendy) Rose, Trisha (Brad) Hoffman, Ryan Michael (Rachel) Rose, Kristin (Jonathan) Maggard, Trinity Rose, and Colton Rose. Gary is also survived by 17 beautiful grandchildren; four siblings, Leslie (Vicky) Rose, Rhonda (Gary) Lee, Crystal (Tim) Heiskell, and Marietta (Wallace “Doe”) Bates; mother-in-law, Josephine Gibbs; and many more beloved family members and friends. Gary was a member of the Union Road Pentecostal Church for 26 years. He loved playing the guitar and making others feel welcomed. He never knew a stranger. Gary was also a member of Carpenters Union Local 113. He will be deeply missed by all those who loved him. A Celebration of Gary's life will be held on Friday, July 13, 2018 at 11:00 AM at Union Road Pentecostal Church, 1101 N. Union Rd, Dayton, Ohio 45417. Pastor Clifford Hurst officiating. Burial will follow the service at Mount Pleasant Cemetery in Middletown. Gary's family will receive friends for visitation on Thursday evening, July 12, 2018 from 5-8 PM at the church.
