SHOPE,Gary Lee Age 56 of Huber Heights passed away on Wednesday, May 7, 2014 after a brief illness. He was born in Portsmouth, Ohio on June 7, 1957. Gary was preceded in death by his father, Harold V. Shope; and father-in-law, Jesse Mullins. He is survived by his mother, Hazel Shope; loving wife, Rhonda Shope; 4 siblings, Deb (Ron) Wilson, Ron (Carla) Shope, Anthony (Ella) Shope, and Steve (Shelly) Shope; 4 children, Kevin Shope, Melissa Shope, Tracy (Ben) Cobb, and Jeremy Wells; 9 grandchildren; and many nieces, nephews, great friends, and family members. Special thanks to Pammy, Mandy, Rhonda's mom Essie, and Hospice of Dayton. Gary worked as a construction worker out of Laborer's Local #1410. He loved bingo, horseshoes, fishing, and hunting. Visitation will be held on Monday, May 12, 2014 from 10am-12pm with the funeral service to follow at 12:00 pm at Rogers' Funeral Home, 324 West Main St., New Lebanon, Ohio 45345.
