Geneva L. (Niece) Meade

MEADE, Geneva L. (Niece) Age 86 of Melbourne, FL, formerly of Trotwood, OH passed away September 10, 2017. She was born in Sandlick, KY on May 23, 1931 to her parents, Jim & Melissa (Sergent) Niece who precede her in death along with her first husband, Herbert Meade; daughter, Cheryl Meade; brother, Burl Niece; and sister, Jenetta Howard. Geneva is survived by her husband, Howard H. Marquardt; son, Radford (Sharyl) Meade; daughter, Freda Noronha; and son, Alan (Cathy) Meade; brother, Jack (Vivian) Niece from Jackson, KY; 8 grandchildren, and her great-grandchildren. Geneva worked at Trotwood-Madison Schools and retired in 1985 after 30 years of teaching. She loved shopping, hiking in the Smoky Mountains, and keeping in touch with her family. A visitation will be held from 12-2 PM with funeral to follow at 2:00 PM on Friday, September 15, 2017 at Rogers Funeral Home, 110 W. Main St., Trotwood, Ohio 45426. Pastor Jerry Carter officiating.
