Geneva Williams

WILLIAMS, Geneva Age 75, of New Lebanon, died Sunday December 4, 2016. She was born March 28, 1941. Geneva is survived by loving husband of 52 years, Harry “Catfish” Williams; daughters, Sherry and Denver Lewis and Margie and Joe Miller; son, John Williams; all of her grandchildren meant the world to her, Aaron Cole, Dustin and Dalton Lewis, Stacy Miller, Joey Miller, Jayme and Zach McQueen, Morgan and Kevin Komiensky, and Mikayla Williams; she was blessed with beautiful great grandchildren, Braydon, Emma, Aria, and Noah; and brothers and sisters, JB, Callaway, Harden, and Mary. Geneva left behind a number of nieces and nephews, who she loved and cared for as her own. She was preceded in death by her parents, Willie and Essie Asher; brothers, Keith, Comer, and Earl Asher; and sisters, Hazel Jordan and Mamie Asher. Geneva has numerous friends that meant the world to her from Grand Lake St. Marys, including Wayne and Betty Boyd, and the community of New Lebanon. Her calling in life was to love and care for her brothers and sisters. She cared for so many children over her life who have become caring and successful adults, many of them have returned to see her throughout the years. She will be greatly missed by many. A memorial visitation will take place on Saturday December 10 from 1PM to 2PM at ROGERS’ FUNERAL HOME, New Lebanon with a memorial service to begin at 2PM.
