George "Georgie" Espey, Jr.

ESPEY, George “Georgie”, Jr. Age 50 of New Lebanon, passed away Monday, January 22, 2018. He was born December 11, 1967 in Dayton, Ohio to his late mother, Oleda D. (Bunch) and father, George Espey, Sr. who survives him along with his wife, Shari Espey; daughters, Ashlee (Dustin) Deckard of Gallipolis, Amber Espey of Dayton; son, Nathan Espey of West Alexandria; and step-daughters, Brittany (Ryan) DeBrosse and Jessica Anthony of Piqua. Also, Grandkids, Elyjah Sizemore, Rylee and Bodee Deckard, and Owen and Preslee DeBrosse; sister, Michelle (Doug) Campbell of New Lebanon; and two nephews, Kaleb and Jacob. Georgie was a graduate of New Lebanon High School and MVCTC from their welding program, class of 1986. He loved horses and was an avid draft horse puller and skilled welder. Visitation will be held from 6-8 PM Wednesday at Rogers Funeral Home in New Lebanon. Funeral service will be 11:00 AM Thursday January 25th also at the funeral home. Pastor Scott Young officiating.
