George D. Honious

HONIOUS, George D. Age 69 of New Lebanon, passed away Sunday, Oct. 7, 2012. George was born on Nov. 13, 1942 to his parents, the late Charlie & Emma Honious. He was also preceded in death by his brother, Warren Honious. Survived by 3 brothers, Jim, Rick (Connie), and Charles (Albertine) Honious; sister-in-law, Diane; 2 nieces, Stephanie Honious, and Emily (Jamie) Stevens; nephew, Aaron Honious; and special friend, Sharon Keiper. George served in the U.S. Army from 1968-1970. He was a member of the New Lebanon American Legion, Brookville VFW, and the Brookville Amvets. A visitation will be held on Saturday, Oct. 13, 2012 from11:00 – 1:00 PM with funeral service to follow at 1:00 PM at ROGERS' FUNERAL HOME, NEW LEBANON. Burial of cremated remains with Military Honors will take place at a later date.
