George E. Riber

RIBER, George E. Age 86, of Trotwood, went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, May 7, 2014. He was preceded in death by his parents, Louis and Frances Riber; loving wife, Geneva; sisters, Charlotte Casey and Ruth Habel; and good friend, Moe Hinkle. George is survived by his daughter, Linda (Riber) Brinson; son, Bruce Riber; brothers, Louis C. Riber and Joseph (Evelyn) Whitesell; several nieces and nephews; and great-nieces and nephews. He retired from Inland Manufacturing after 35 years of service. George enjoyed baseball, especially the Cincinnati Reds when they were playing, and bowling, but fishing was his passion. The Visitation will be Monday, May 12 from 10AM to 1PM at ROGERS' FUNERAL HOME, Trotwood. The Funeral Service will begin at 1PM with Pastor Brian Kershaw officiating. Entombment will follow the service at Royal Oak Memorial Gardens Mausoleum, Brookville. In lieu of flowers, contributions in George's memory may be made to the Alzheimer's Association.
