Geraldine M. Adkins

ADKINS, Geraldine Mae Age 83, of Brookville, formerly Phillipsburg, went to be with the Lord Saturday November 11, 2017. She was preceded in death by her parents, Herschel and Mabel Ortman; and her ex-husband, Robert Adkins. Geraldine was a long-time member of Emmanuel Lutheran Church in Phillipsburg and attended, when able, Trinity Lutheran Church in Brookville. She worked at Inland for 10 years when first married till her children came, then she did part-time jobs as a grill cook, trying to be home with her daughters. She is survived by her daughters, Lois Crowe of Pyrmont and Nancy (Mark) Longman of Brookville; grandchildren, Kevin Crowe of Pyrmont, Sandy Crowe, Kyle Longman of Brookville, Courtney Longman of Brookville, and Jeremy Longman of Brookville; great grandchildren, Madilynn McCarty of Brookville and Claire Gearhart. A memorial visitation will be Saturday November 18 from 10AM to 12PM at ROGERS’ FUNERAL HOME, New Lebanon. A memorial service will begin at 12PM with Pastor Mark Weatherman officiating.
