Gladys M. Montgomery

MONTGOMERY, Gladys M. Age 92 of Englewood, passed away Saturday, Jan. 26, 2013. She was born in New Lebanon to her parents, Jesse and Susie Caplinger on May 12, 1920. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Orville in 2007; son, Richard; and brother, John Caplinger. Gladys is survived by her nephew, Rodger (Sue) Caplinger; sister-in-law, Geraldine Caplinger; 3 great nieces; and lifetime friend, Rose Phillips. Gladys was a graduate of Dixie High School, a Delco Products retiree, and a longtime member of Crestview Baptist Church. She was a classy and personable lady who formed and enjoyed friendships where ever she went. She was loved by many, and will be missed. A special thank you to the caregivers at the assisted living facility, and more recently those at the Brookhaven Nursing Facility for their caring and loving attention. Funeral service will be held at 12:00 noon on Wed., Jan. 30, at Rogers' Funeral Home in New Lebanon. Interment will follow at Trissel Cemetery.
