Glen H. Weaver

WEAVER, Glen H. Age 95, died at his home April 4, 2017. He was born August 6, 1921 in New Paris, PA to his parents, Edward and Nora Weaver. Glen graduated from Shellsburg Napier H.S. and worked in grocery sales and as a food broker. He leaves his wife of 68 years, Marla Joy (Wolf) Weaver; daughters, Robin (Dennis) Gilbert and Ginger Weaver; son, Kevin (Karen) Weaver; grandchildren, Chad (Lindsay), Emily (James), Stephen (Alicia), and Kaitlin (Joe); and great grandchildren, Ryker, Micah, Calen, Levi, and Quinn. Glen was a member of the Liberty United Methodist Church for 68 years and a World War II veteran. The family will receive friends Saturday April 8 from 12PM to 2PM at ROGERS’ FUNERAL HOME, New Lebanon. The Memorial Service will begin at 2PM with Pastor Glenn Sweigart officiating. In lieu of flowers, contributions in Glen’s memory may be made to Liberty UMC, 7840 Pemberton Ave; Dayton, Ohio 45417.
