Glenna F. (Bowden) Phipps

PHIPPS, Glenna (Bowden) Age 79, of Englewood, passed away on Wednesday June 3, 2015 at Miami Valley Hospital. Glenna retired from Lazarus after 26 years, and was a member of Shiloh Church and Englewood Order of the Eastern Star Chapter #563. Glenna was preceded in death by her husband of 36 years, Raymond J. Phipps, Sr.; parents, Charlie and Pauline Bowden; infant son; and siblings, Nancy Bowden, Charles Bowden, Helen (Bowden) Busch, Lowell Bowden, and Dennis Bowden. She is survived by her son, Raymond J. Phipps, Jr (Mandi); daughter, Susan (Phipps) Harlow (Doug); grandchildren, Nichalas Harlow, Monica Phipps, Natalie Phipps, Austyn Phipps, and Ashlyn Phipps; siblings, Sue Greco (Mike) and Shelva Ward (Glenn); and many nieces and nephews. The Visitation will be Wednesday, June 10 from 3-5PM at ROGERS’ FUNERAL HOME, Trotwood. The Funeral Service will begin at 5PM with Pastor Jay McMillen officiating. Burial will follow the service at Bethel Cemetery, Union.
