Gordon Allen, Jr.

Gordon Allen Jr., 94, passed away peacefully on Sunday, August 2nd, 2026 at St. Leonard in Centerville. He was born in Miamisburg, Ohio on September 20, 1931 to the late Gordon and Lenora (Kirby) Allen.

He grew up in Franklin, Ohio and lived many years in New Lebanon, Ohio where he raised his family.

He is survived by his wife of 64 years, Pat; daughter, Toni Allen; sons, Jeff Allen and Bobby Allen; and brothers, Orville Allen and Dale Allen; as well as nieces, nephews and friends.

Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by son Gordon "Freddy" Allen, sisters; Ruth Allen, Myrtle Weddington and Ada Mae Krebs; and brother, Wilbur Allen.

He worked as a delivery truck driver and bus driver for many years before retiring.

He was an active member of the New Lebanon Lions Club for years and enjoyed projects around the house, car shows with his son, Jeff, playing Keno at local casinos, trips to Las Vegas, camping, classic movies and eating out with his family, especially at Bob Evans and the Cracker Barrel!

Graveside services at Holp Cemetery on S. Clayton Rd. in Farmersville on Monday, August 10th at 11:00am for anyone who would like to attend.

The family would like to thank the staff at The Wellington of Dayton, St. Leonard and Hospice of Dayton for the exceptional care given to Gordon.
