Grover "Doc" S. Sherrill

SHERRILL, Grover S. Age 77, formerly of Trotwood, passed away Monday, September 17, 2012. He was preceded in death by his loving wife of 52 years, Sharon; brothers, Willard and Ira; and sister, Myrtle Shackleford. Grover is survived by daughters, Tina (Eddie) Boltin and Tamara (Douglas) Mislan; sons, Mike and Steve; grandchildren, Michael and Misty Sherrill, Scott and Christina Boltin, and Brandon, Ciara, and Dustin Mislan; 12 great-grandchildren; sisters; Wandaline Pumphrey, Midge Jerrill, Frances (Ray) Miller, and Carol Ann Sherrill; and many more family and friends. He worked for many years at Miami Industrial Trucks as a forklift mechanic and enjoyed listening to bluegrass and gospel music and the company of the members of Charity Baptist Church who visited him at Heartland of Kettering. He and Sharon were united in marriage on September 22, and will now be united in death. The family will receive friends on Friday, September 21 from 11AM to 1PM at ROGERS' FUNERAL HOME, 324 W. Main St., New Lebanon. The Funeral Service will take place at 1PM at the funeral home with burial at Dayton Memorial Park at 3PM.
