Harold L. Hoffman

HOFFMAN, Harold L. Age 85, of New Lebanon, went to be with his wife and the Lord on Monday, December 24, 2012. He was born June 7, 1927 in Jefferson Township to the late Everett and Grace Hoffman. Harold was preceded in death by his parents; loving wife of 31 years, Virginia M. (Dafler); infant daughter, Bonnie Kay; and brother, Orion Hoffman. He is survived by his children, Barbara Jo Hoffman, Thomas L. (Barbara A.) Hoffman, James (Kimberly) Hoffman, Wanda (David) Cochran, and Susan (Scott) Peele; grandchildren, Benjamin (Kathryn Elsea) Hoffman, Elizabeth (Bobby) Knight, Jonathan and Matthew Hoffman, Seth, Allen, and Zakhery Peele; loving nieces, Charlene and Sharon; numerous relatives and friends. He retired from GM after 36 years of service, was a member of Liberty United Methodist Church, a 4-H advisor for 20+ years, and especially enjoyed his grandchildren. The family will receive friends on Friday, December 28 from 5-7PM at ROGERS' FUNERAL HOME, New Lebanon. The Funeral Service will be on Saturday, December 29 at 10AM at the funeral home with Pastor Glenn Sweigart officiating. Burial will follow the service at Arlington Cemetery, Brookville.
