Hazel D. Boehringer

BOEHRINGER, Hazel D. Age 100 of Moraine City, passed away Sunday, Nov. 8, 2015. She was born in Detroit, MI on Dec. 13, 1914 to her parents Harley & Frances (Simpson) Delaplane. Hazel was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Robert J. Boehringer; grandson, Charles E. Wellman Jr., and 4 brothers. She is survived by her son, Ronald L. Boehringer, daughters, Elsie Griffin, and Roberta Crank; 6 grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren, 1 great-great granddaughter; and numerous nieces and nephews. Hazel was a member of Salem Lutheran Church, the Belmont Eastern Star, GM Local 696 Retirees Club, and the Moraine & West Carrolton Senior Citizens Club. She was also a volunteer for 23 years at Sycamore Hospital and a retired volunteer of Jefferson Twp. Fire Dept. Visitation will be held from 11:00am to 1:00pm with funeral service to follow at 1:00pm on Monday, Nov. 16, 2015 at Rogers’ Funeral Home in New Lebanon. Burial will follow the service at Lower Miami Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to either Hospice of Dayton and/or the American Heart Assoc. in memory of Hazel.
